While driving along Hak Po Street in Mong Kok on August 18, I accidentally bumped into a Nelson Road-bound van and the driver made a report to police.
Mong Kok District Patrol Sub-unit Team 1 Police Constable Ho Man-kwong soon arrived to give us a detailed explanation of relevant regulations and made a speedy report to his commanders. He took statements from both of us in different locations in order to protect our privacy. The van driver and I reconciled and the case was successfully settled.
I was impressed by the outstanding performance of the officer who, despite the sweltering heat, never showed any signs of discomfort.
