Top tolerance

(This letter was sent to the Police Public Relations Branch)

My wife and I were issued a fixed penalty ticket by two officers on October 5 at a carpark in King Fuk Street, San Po Kong for illegal parking.

One of our friends also got a ticket for another offence. But under the influence of alcohol, he verbally abused the two officers and threatened to lodge a complaint. However, the pair remained calm throughout the incident and concentrated on their job.

I'd like to say sorry to these two officers for what happened and to express my appreciation for their top performance.

Chiu Wing-kei

(Editor's Note: The officers were Police Constables Lee Shui-wah and Kevin Ng of Patrol Sub-unit Team Four of Wong Tai Sin Division)
