Good citizens


Some 40 people received Good Citizen Awards at a ceremony in Plaza Hollywood, Diamond Hill, December 15, from then Director of Management Services Douglas Lau Yuk-kuen. He was assisted by Fight Crime Committee member Pong Chong and General Chamber of Commerce representative Yu Kin-on.

Mr Pong commended the recipients for displaying alertness and outstanding courage, while Mr Yu said the Chamber would fully support Police in maintaining law and order and encourage the public fight-crime effort. The recipients were 34 men and six women aged 17 to 62. All received cash awards and certificates.
