Forum handled well

(This letter was also sent to the CP)

I am proud that Hong Kong has once again proven its ability to host with class an international event like the Fortune Global Forum, while assuring secure and safe conditions for the attendees and special guests.

Hong Kong must continue its superb planning and exercising its procedural techniques to minimise certain risks associated with freedom of expression.

I support the Hong Kong Police in their techniques and procedures. Their superb efforts to date in general, have kept our city's image positive. Distancing demonstrations and keeping potential irresponsible people from infiltrating from the outside has to be exercised carefully, but exercised.

We will continue to have the opportunity to host global economic forums and the like. It is always better to go a little too far for the sake of comfort, safety and to minimise inconvenience and cost to our citizens. Being heard thereafter, in a civilised way, will then come natural and potentially have a positive impact.
