'Keep left' rule as important as speed limit enforcement

(A summany of an e-mail sent to the Police Public Relations Branch)

I was driving on Tuen Mun Road heading towards Tsuen Wan on May 22. There was a traffic officer on motorcycle and all the way from Siu Lam to Tsuen Wan he enforced the "keep to the nearside lane" rule and urged all drivers to keep left unless overtaking. I appreciated very much the positive action taken.

Whilst Police often act to enforce speeding laws, I feel it is equally important to enforce the "keep left" rule on expressways by proper prosecution of offending drivers.
