A person's education often lays the foundation for the kind of life he or she is able to live and parents, in particular, need to make intelligent decisions about it together with their children and families. For many people education is, in fact, one of the biggest investments in time and money they will make in their lifetime.

In serving the needs of Force children, and as part of promoting the Force Healthy Family concepts, Personnel Services Branch, Staff Relations Group & Staff Associations jointly work together in association with other educational institutions and professionals, to tailor-make a one-stop Education & Study Tour Exhibition & Seminar on April 26 and 27, between 2pm and 6pm, at the Police Sports & Recreation Club. Force members and their children can therefore make a concerted and informed decision on their schooling plan. No matter what their decisions may be, it is essential to acquire updated and essential information and knowledge for use in the decision-making process.

The following organisations will participate and set up booths at the venue for displays of education information: Australian Consulate General Education Section, Institute of International Education, Canadian Education Centre, New Zealand Education Centre, Hong Kong Overseas Studies Centre, Jinan University, Huaqiao University, Hong Kong Association for China Graduates & The Prudential Assurance Co. Ltd.

In addition, a series of topical seminars with Q & A sessions (in Cantonese) will be conducted.

Force members and their families who wish to attend the seminars can reserve places at 2673-5382 or 2866-7427. The allocation of places will be made on a first-come-first-served basis.
