Appeal for information on suspect of a murder case on Thursday (with photo)

Police today (September 29) appealed to members of the public to provide information on the identity and whereabouts of the culprit who was suspected to be involved in a murder case in Sham Shui Po on Thursday (September 28).

At about 3.10am on September 28, a 58-year-old taxi driver was found with multiple injuries inside a taxi compartment near 229 Hai Tan Street. He was sent to Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 12.07 am on the same day.

Following active and in-depth investigation by the Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West, the identikit of the culprit was issued today.

The identikit showed that the culprit is aged 20-25, about 1.72 metres in height and is of medium build. He was wearing a white cap, a long sleeves black sport T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of white shoes when last seen.
