Special traffic arrangements for a parade in Wan Chai

Police will implement special traffic arrangements to facilitate the holding of a parade in Wan Chai tomorrow (October 8).

The special traffic arrangements to be implemented between 6.45 am and 1.30 pm are as follows:

Road closure
------------

(1) Northbound Expo Drive East;

(2) North of Expo Drive East including bus terminus and taxi stand area (next to the Golden Bauhinia Square);

(3) Southbound Expo Drive East between Expo Drive and Expo Drive Central; and

(4) Expo Drive between Expo Drive and Expo Drive East.

Traffic diversions
------------------

(1) Traffic along northbound Fleming Road must turn left or right to Convention Avenue;

(2) Traffic along eastbound Expo Drive Central heading for northbound Expo Drive East must turn right to southbound Expo Drive East; and

(3) Traffic along northbound Expo Drive heading for Expo Drive East must make a U-turn to southbound Expo Drive.

In addition, all bus terminus, bus stops, taxi stands, bus and coach parking spaces and meter parking spaces outside Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Phase II on Expo Drive East will be suspended between 6 am and 1.30 pm.
