Murder in Sha Tin

Police are investigating a murder case in which a 58-year-old year woman was killed in Sha Tin last night (October 26).

Shortly after 10.45 pm, Police received a report from a 34-year-old woman who alleged that her mother and younger brother were injured inside their home in Wing Shui House of Lek Yuen Estate.

Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and located the duo. The 32-year-old man, with injury on his left hand and right neck??? was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital while his 58-year-old mother with chop wounds was certified dead at the scene.

A knife with blood stain ??? was located at ???

The 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with the case.

A post-mortem will be conducted later today (October 27) to ascertain the cause of death of the woman.

Investigations by District Crime Squad of Sha Tin are proceeding.
