Man charged with robbery

Police tonight (June 16) charged a 22-year-old man with one count of robbery.

The man was arrested in Wu King Estate in Tuen Mun yesterday morning (June 15) in suspected connection with two robbery cases occurred in October last year. In the first case, a 43-year-old woman was robbed of $450 and suffered minor injuries in a flat on Yuen Long On Ning Road on October 21. In the second case, a 35-year-old woman was tied up and robbed of $340 in a flat on San Shing Avenue in Sheung Shui on October 28. She sustained no injury.

He will appear in Fanling Magistrates' Courts next Monday (June 18).
