Security Services Best Training Award 2024
The Crime Prevention Bureau held the award presentation ceremony of the Security Services Best Training Award 2024 in conjunction with the Vocational Training Council (VTC) on 10th February, 2026. The ceremony was officiated by the Director of Operations (D OPS), LUI Kam-ho; the Chairman of the VTC Security and Disciplined Services Training Board (SDSTB), Myron NG Hung-fai; and the Chairman of the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA), Stephen YIP Chun-nam.
In his speech, D OPS commended the award-winning security companies for actively developing continuous training programmes. He thanked security workers for teaming up with the Force to combat crimes.
A total of 135 awards comprising 90 Gold Awards, 28 Silver Awards, 11 Bronze Awards and 6 Merit Awards were presented to security companies this year. The award panel was formed by representatives of the Force, VTC, SDSTB and SGSIA. It assessed the commitments made by participating companies in relation to security personnel training, the investment of training resources, and the level of management involvement in and support for training programmes.
