NTN Regional Best Security Guard Awards 2014 Presentation Ceremony was conducted at Yuen Long Theatre on 13 May 2015. The ceremony was officiated by Regional Commander of NTN Mr. KWOK Ho-fai, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chairman of Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority Mr. CHAM Ka-hung, Director of Hong Kong Security Association Mr. CHAN Yin-tim, Chairmen of District Fight Crime Committees, Senior Superintendent (Crime) NTN and Superintendent of Crime Prevention Bureau. More than 700 guests and representatives from the security sector attended.
This year, a record-breaking number of security guards, more than 4,220 in total, actively participated to compete for ‘Best Security Guard Awards’. Chairman of Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority Mr. CHAM Ka-hung, Executive Director of Hong Kong Security Association Mr. TANG Kwok-hoi and Chief Inspector of Security Company Inspection Unit, Crime Prevention Bureau, Mr. LI Ming-kei were invited to form the adjudicating panel for assessment. Because of the very high standard of the participants, the selection process this year was considerably difficult. Eventually, after thorough assessment, the adjudicating panel selected 866 winners for ‘Merit Awards’, and amongst the winners further selected the awardees for ‘Top Ten Awards’, and the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners.
Chairman of Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority Mr. CHAM Ka-hung stated that the meticulous production and arrangement of the ceremony reflected the professionalism of the Force, anticipating NTN Region to continue to ‘Join Hands, Fight Crime’.
