In the evening on 15th and 22nd of June 2018, Road Safety Office of Traffic Hong Kong Island conducted the ‘World Cup Anti-drink Driving Publicity’ in different District of Hong Kong Island to remind members of the public not to drive after drinking during the World Cup period.
Road Safety Office of T HKI adopted multi-agency approach to carry out a series of traffic safety publicity activities in bar areas such as Lan Kwai Fong, Lockhart Road, Forbes Street and SOHO East together with district councillors, members of Road Safety Campaign Committee, representatives from the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol, PCROs and DTTs of different Districts in the region. Members of public including visitors were also invited to try the screening breath test in order to have better understanding of police enforcement action and relevant laws.
