TBHQ, T KE and RSP KE organized Blind Spot Experience Day at Sau Mau Ping Road Safety Town on 2021-03-08 with a view to enhancing the road safety awareness of the elderly pedestrians. The blind spot zone of large vehicles and the potential danger concerned were elaborated to the elderly, persons with disabilities, as well as the staff of recycling sites and cleaning companies.
During the activity, officers of T KE elaborated the blind spots around a vehicle and invited the participants to experience the danger of crossing the road through the narrow space between vehicles and standing in front of a vehicle.
Road safety is everyone’s responsibility. Through Project TOGETHER, TBHQ encourages everyone to look out for others and promotes the spirit of helping one another, especially the elderly pedestrians, thereby making Hong Kong’s roads safer.
