On March 7, 2025, the Police Traffic Branch Headquarters, together with the Road Safety Council, On Li Care Team (Kwun Tong District) and Legislative Council members of Kowloon East, visited Shun On Estate for community interaction and road safety promotion.
The event included visits to the elderly living alone and kindergarten, distributing souvenirs and promoting road safety messages, such as encouraging the elderly to use the "Four Essentials for Pedestrians" (i.e., footbridges, pedestrian subways, zebra crossings and pedestrian crossing traffic signals) to enhance the safety awareness of the elderly. During the kindergarten visit, the mascots of the Traffic Branch Headquarters and the Road Safety Council, namely Traffic Bear and Mr. Safegg, interacted with the children through Q&A session so as to deepen their understanding of road safety.
