On 11 October, JPC held an EID Party for the Pakistani community. I was one of the volunteers of that event in charge of translation between Pakistani and Chinese people. There were around 30 participants who joined us in the party.

Our Contract Police Community Liaison Assistant, Mr Ahmed Adeel, gave an opening speech on the Police Force and anti-crime messages, which were very useful to me and other participants. After that, we helped distribute anti-crime leaflets in the neighbourhood. I found it was meaningful to promote anti-crime messages on the street. I also got a prize in the subsequent lucky draw and it was one of the great moments of my life. How lucky I was! The EID party we had was so great and unforgettable.

As a JPC member, I encourage all minorities to come out to society and joining the JPC family could be the first step.
