合作舉辦「處理海上動物走私案件」講座
2022年10月13日，水警總區與漁農自然護理署及愛護動物協會合作舉辦「處理海上動物走私案件」講座，為150名警務人員講解2020-2022年度動物走私案件形勢及分佈，調查搜證及初步處理有關動物程序，大大加提升人員在殘酷對待動物工作方面的能力。另外，講座亦透過經驗分享灌輸人員在殘酷對待動物的罪行及調查技巧

In November 2020, officers of Marine Regional Crime Prevention Officeand the Police Community Relations Office of Marine Harbour Division held a publicity event at Lamma Island to explain and promote animal protection messages to members of the public.
Building Partnership with Animal-related Stakeholders
Marine Regional Crime Prevention Office has engaged the local catteries in Cheung Chau and established close cooperation with them so to strengthen intelligence exchange. Promotional materials were also placed in these facilities to enhance police-public partnership in protecting animals.
