After the advanced Emcee (MC) course organised by JPC HQs in February, I am honoured to have the chance to be the MC in my University in an once-in-a-lifetime even to put what I learnt into practice.

It was the inauguration ceremony of my History Society "Joviality" which academic staff and alumnus attended to share our joy and pride. Though I had experience on stage before, I was anxious when invited by the President. I also needed to cooperate with a partner who had the first time being an MC in a formal function. All these tested my liaison and consistency. Fortunately, I successfully put the skills, such as voice intensity, problem-solving techniques and dressing tips, learnt from Mr. Sugar Kong, my teacher in the MC course to good use. Eventually, I acted affirmatively throughout the event and guided my partner to build confidence. The ceremony was a success with positive feedbacks.

"Knowledge, like a sea, is boundless; only through hard study can one reach the destination." JPC gives me opportunity to know my right direction and strive for the goal. I would keep myself motivated with faith and humbleness through challenges. Though it may be an endless journey, I will always strive to walk the way out.
