The Police Civilian Staff Club (PCSC) held its 2014 Annual General Meeting cum Annual Dinner on June 6. Among the 170 participants were Director of Finance, Administration and Planning Ip Man-fai, who is the Honorary Vice-Patron of PCSC, Police Civil Secretary Chan Wong Yan-lan, who is the Honorary President of PCSC, Financial Controller Tau Chung-hong and Chief Executive Officer (P&G) Fong Tin-chuen.
 
PCSC was set up in 1968 for strengthening the communication among civilian officers and enhancing the co-operations between civilian staff and other officers in the Force. It now has a membership of over 6 200.
 
PCSC has been actively encouraging civilian officers to take part in volunteer services. By the end of last year, the PCSC Volunteer Team comprised 340 members, who chalked up a total of 12 771 hours of volunteer services last year. Social Welfare Department has awarded the Volunteer Service Certificate to 52 team members, who received the certificate and prizes from Mr Ip and Mrs Chan at the annual dinner.
 
The 2014-15 General Committee of PCSC was elected at the Annual General Meeting, comprising 25 members, besides the Chairperson and Vice-chairperson.
