The Police Band visited Ningbo University for a cultural exchange and performance on November 3 under the arrangements of Ningbo Municipal Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).


The students were impressed by the Police Band's performance at the university campus, and then attended a seminar on the topic of "Ideology and Reality" with the band members. The band members shared their work experience and challenges, and encouraged the students to study hard and strive for their goal.


Besides, the Police Band performed for the HKTDC's Style Hong Kong Show, which was held in Ningbo from November 4 to 7 to promote trade between Hong Kong and Ningbo.


On the other hand, the Police Band gave a performance at Munsang College on December 14 with the support of the Police Community Relations Office of Kowloon City District (KCDIST).


Apart from playing relaxing music and introducing the Police Band's history, the Police Silver Band and Police Pipe Band performed two tunes, Highland Cathedral and Amazing Grace, together with 30 members of the school band. The band members also interacted with the students and the teaching staff.


Officiating at the event were an alumnus of Munsang College and former Director of Crime and Security Lo Mung-hung, Deputy Director 1 of the Police College Cho Ming-lung, KCDIST Commander Cheung Ching, and Music Director of the Police Band Leung Bo-kun.
