The Junior Police Call (JPC) Advanced Leaders' Council bid for a stall at the Lunar New Year Fair in Victoria Park for the first time for their Flower Fair Project in an attempt to learn about running a business between January 22 and 28. They also exercised social responsibility by donating the profit and remaining products to show love and concern for people in need.

The project garnered full support from the JPC Central Advisory Board (CAB) and JPC Central Finance Committee (CFC), with JPC CAB member Ms Ng Yin-mui as the project advisor.

Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Lau Yip-shing, Chairperson of JPC CAB Ms Lam Hiu-tong, Chief Superintendent of the Police Public Relations Branch Fok Lok-sang, Chairperson of JPC CFC Mr Ng Siu-keung and other JPC CAB members visited the stall to show their support, and purchased in person the products designed by the JPC Advanced Leaders. The project was also well received by the JPC Honorary Presidents of the districts.

Apart from earning a net profit of about $58,000, the JPC Advanced Leaders also learned business experience in the project. On behalf of the JPC, Director of Operations Tang Ping-keung donated the profit to the Evangel Children's Home on February 3. The remaining products of the project would be donated to other charity organisations or schools.
