The Police Karate-do Club (PKC) held the Annual Karate-do Tournament at the Police Sports and Recreation Club (PSRC) on April 16, with over 100 karate-do practitioners from 10 training centres including the University of Hong Kong and Chu Hai College of Higher Education participating in over 20 events. The majority of the contestants were children and youngsters.

In a bid to engage the community, the club has been participating in the Active School Programme since 2015, during which their members offered free karate-do training to primary students. The latest training session was held at TKDS Fong Shu Chuen School, and Chairperson of PKC Young Chi-man joined in offering karate-do training to Primary Four students.

Regular karate-do training sessions are held for adults from 7 pm to 9 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, and for youngsters from 10 am to 12 pm every Sunday at PSRC. All interested serving or retired police officers (regular or auxiliary), civilian staff, and their family members are welcome to join. For enquiries, please contact Inspector Jeff Lam on 3660-5233 or by email: jeffsflam@police.gov.hk.
