Commander of Sau Mau Ping District (SMPDIST) Wong Kwong-hing hosted a seminar on Project On Tai with local stakeholders on June 14 to discuss preparatory measures for the intake of new residents in On Tai Estate, one of the public housing estates built under the Government's Anderson Road Development Plan.

The event drew the participation of District Councillors, other management officers of SMPDIST as well as representatives from residential groups, property management companies, the relevant government departments and non-governmental organisations.

The attendees talked about the contingency plans to address possible social problems and crimes that might occur. They hoped that the stakeholders would maintain close liaison with each other with a view to providing quality services to the residents.

Project On Tai is one of the key Action Plans of SMPDIST in 2017 in a bid to enhance partnership with the stakeholders in the fight against crime.
