The New Territories South Regional Headquarters (NTS Regional HQ) held a bus parade on June 23 to publicise its large-scale summer youth crime prevention project codenamed "STORMBREAKER". The themes of the project this year were "Stand Firm! Knock Drugs Out", "Beware of Deception", "Beware of Theft" and "Guard Against Sexual Assault".

NTS Regional Commander Lui Hon-kwok officiated at the kick-off ceremony of the parade. Also taking part in the ceremony were NTS Deputy Regional Commander Patrick Laidler, Senior Superintendent of Crime NTS Regional HQ Ho Chun-chung, Acting Superintendent (Administration and Support) of Crime NTS Regional HQ Cheung Tin-lok and Junior Police Call (JPC) members from various Districts of NTS. Crime prevention messages were broadcast along the route of the bus parade and the officers led JPC members to distribute publicity leaflets about crime prevention.

Mr Lui thanked the JPC members for their participation and encouraged them to actively take part in summer activities, stay away from crime and say "No" to undesirable associates.
