Tuen Mun District (TMDIST), Tuen Mun District Fight Crime Committee (TMDFCC) and Lingnan University co-organised a graduation ceremony of the fourth Fight Crime Street Run Programme on September 30, with the participation of over 80 students and teachers from secondary schools.

Officiating at the ceremony were Regional Commander of New Territories North Kwok Ho-fai, TMDIST Commander Mak Wai-man, Chairman of TMDFCC Mr Lee Hung-sham and Director of Office of Service-Learning of Lingnan University Professor Robin Snell. They finished the run with the students and presented certificates of completion to them.

The programme consisted of eight sessions, which were designed by professional coaches with an aim to training local and Non-ethnic Chinese students to build perseverance, patience and confidence. TMDIST police volunteers assisted in training the students during their spare time to convey fight crime messages. The students said that the event provided them with unforgettable learning experience. It had not only increased their understanding of the Force, but also offered opportunities for them to make friends with students from other schools.
