A 34-member delegation from the Junior Police Call (JPC) departed for Singapore on February 2 to attend a five-day exchange programme with the National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC). Organised by the Police Public Relations Branch, the programme aimed to increase the delegates' understanding of the Singapore Police Force (SPF), foster their communication with local youngsters and broaden their international horizons.

The NPCC is a youth uniformed group established by the SPF and the Ministry of Education. The group shares common goals as the JPC in enhancing youngsters' self-confidence and competitiveness, nurturing their positive values, encouraging them to help fight crime and equipping them to become future leaders.

During the programme, the JPC delegates visited various SPF units and a secondary school, and underwent challenging outdoor training at NPCC's field camp. They projected the spirit of JPC and impressed their hosts as a cohesive team ready to help one another in difficult times.
