Over 130 mentees and mentors of Project GROWTH built mutual trust in a camp at JPC@Pat Heung on April 28 and 29. The event was organised by the Recruitment Division (RECDIV) under the theme of "Building up Friendship".

Through team building games, floor curling, and rope course and zip line challenges, the mentors taught the mentees about communication and problem-solving skills, planning and organising abilities, team spirit and time management. A barbecue party was arranged for both sides to share their stories.

Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Siu Chak-yee, Chief Superintendent of Human Resources Branch Chiu Wing-lan and Superintendent of RECDIV Cheung Leung-yuk went to the campsite to show their support for the participants. Ms Cheung also outlined ways to "Live Your Passion" and encouraged the mentees to explore their strengths.

On the second day, the mentees attended crime scene investigation and fingerprint identification workshops to get a feel of police work. They thanked the mentors and RECDIV for arranging the camp and the unforgettable memories.
