Force delegates attend KM Conference in Hangzhou


Superintendent Chan On-yee led a three-member delegation of the Police College to attend The 9th International Conference on Innovation and Knowledge Management in Asia Pacific cum The 1st Session of Innovation and Knowledge Management Alliance in Hangzhou from October 31 to November 2. Over 200 renowned academic experts, researchers and entrepreneurs from all over the world attended the conference.


With a focus on Knowledge Management (KM) and Innovation Management, the conference provided a platform for KM practitioners and academics to explore the next generation of knowledge and innovation management systems.


Mr Chan gave a presentation in the conference about "Hong Kong Police Force as a Knowledge Enterprise Forging ahead Strategically for Perpetual Service Enhancement". He stressed that the implementation of KM has helped strengthen the Force's capability to ensure that Hong Kong remains one of the safest and most stable societies in the world. He shared the good KM practices adopted by the Force as well as the five-year KM strategic plan.


Meanwhile, the delegation paid a visit to the Alibaba Xixi Park, Dream Village and a history museum of Zhejiang University. They benefited from in-depth discussions with participants worldwide, gaining valuable experience and insights.
