Chief Superintendent of the Traffic Branch Headquarters Martin Cadman presented letters to five Traffic Wardens, namely Chong Wai-kit, Chung Ka-leong, Chan Chi-keung, Kwok Yee-mei and Siu Sik-man, on May 15, confirming their promotion to Senior Traffic Warden (STWD).


Speaking at the promotion ceremony, Mr Cadman talked about the challenges faced by STWDs and encouraged them to act as role models to their teammates. He also mentioned the latest development of the e-Ticketing Pilot Scheme for fixed penalty tickets against illegal parking. The STWDs said that the introduction of e-Ticketing had successfully enhanced the accuracy of enforcement.


Chong Wai-kit is the youngest among the five promotees. Serving as a Traffic Warden for around 10 years, he has performed outstandingly. His promotion is a recognition of his hard work.
