Yuen Long District (YLDIST), in collaboration with the Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories North and the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (New Territories North), held a webinar on August 19 to promote awareness of road safety and anti-crime messages to more than 50 primary school staff and students.

The webinar was kicked off with the broadcast of a cartoon produced by officers of Pat Heung Division, followed by a welcoming speech by YLDIST Commander Ho Chun-chung. The webinar was also broadcast live through Yuen Long Junior Police Call’s Facebook page.

In light of the epidemic, schools continue to conduct online classes for students. In view of this, YLDIST has been collaborating with local primary and secondary schools to broadcast anti-crime video clips during online classes to enhance students’ crime prevention awareness. In addition, an online slogan design competition will be organised for all local primary school students. Amid the epidemic, YLDIST will continue to utilise technology to engage with the community and promote road safety and crime prevention awareness.
