T KE

In the third quarter of 2021, officers of the Road Safety Office of Traffic Kowloon East (T KE) paid home visits to more than 20 senior citizens and kids who had been injured by traffic accidents. During the visits, the officers not only cared for their recovery progress but also reminded the victims and their families of the importance of observing traffic regulations. Officers also shared other traffic accident cases with the families with a view to raising their road safety awareness.

The families were very thankful to the care of T KE officers. A girl who had experienced a traffic accident said that she would be careful when crossing the road in future and she would share road safety messages with her classmates, while her father stressed the responsibilities of both drivers and pedestrians to abide by traffic regulations. An elderly man who was injured in a traffic accident said that the home visit had raised his road safety awareness, and his wife shared that she would stay vigilant and pay attention to traffic conditions when crossing the road in future.
