GCA Presentation Ceremony
The Good Citizen Award (GCA) Presentation Ceremony 2022 will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on February 26. As it is the 50th anniversary of the GCA Scheme this year, the Public Relations Wing (PR Wing) will join the 80 good citizens and seven good organisations to celebrate the event. Celebrities, including Dr Liza Wang and Mr Donnie Yen, have been invited to attend the ceremony. Ms Toby Chan and Mr Albert Au will be the masters of ceremonies while STARS Academy singers will perform singing with children. The ceremony will be live broadcast on RTHK31, the Police Facebook and YouTube at 2:30pm on February 26.
Big Big Good Citizen World and Good People and Good Deeds short videos
With tremendous effort, four Good Citizens who won GCA over the past years have been located and interviewed for producing the programme Big Big Good Citizen World, which will be shown on the Force’s YouTube and Facebook as well as RTHK31 between February 21 and 24. The broadcast time on RTHK31 is 10:25-10:30 pm. Moreover, the four episodes of Good People and Good Deeds will be played during the ceremony and posted on the Force’s social media platforms.
Good Citizen Roving Exhibition
The Good Citizen Exhibition will take place at YOHO MALL in Yuen Long between February 27 and March 5. In addition to the stall games for all, souvenirs will be distributed, making the exhibition a good parent-child event.
Modern Way of Playing Vintage Toys
PR Wing has chosen three vintage toys, namely the sliding puzzle, Rubik’s cube and Ludo, and given them refreshing appearances by integrating in them the Good Citizen elements and Good Citizen spirit. The toys will be distributed to winners of the GCA and the stall games.
