To encourage officers to actively participate in healthy activities and promote a healthy lifestyle, the Personnel Services and Staff Relations Branch held the Annual Force Colours Awards Presentation Ceremony at the Police Officers’ Club on May 17. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee and senior officers attended the ceremony to show their support.


32 officers were awarded Force Colours Awards for Sports and 10 officers were awarded Force Colours Awards for Arts this year in recognition of their outstanding achievements and contributions in sports and arts. Chief Inspector Cheung Shuk-ting of the Police Athletics Club won the Watson Cup because of her participation and achievements in various athletics competitions on behalf of the Force in the past year. The New Territories South Regional Headquarters was awarded the Purdon Shield in recognition of their performance and achievement in sports over the past year, and their effort in encouraging colleagues to pursue healthy lifestyle. To commend the excellent training room management teams, seven Formations were also awarded Fitness Training Room Management Excellence Awards.
