In the first half of 2025, Kowloon East Region (KE) conducted an e-survey on the Acceptance of Advantages (Chief Executive’s Permission) Notice (AAN), gathered preliminary data, and launched the “Project INTEGRAL” in the Region from August 2025. The Project was rolled out in phases, introducing KE AAN e-Booklet, KE AAN Training Package, KE AAN One-Minute Video-Clip Competition, and KE AAN Artificial Intelligence (AI) Driven Poster Competition to enhance officers’ understanding and application of the AAN and the Prevention of Bribery Ordinance (Ordinance).
KE organised the KE AAN Quiz Competition on January 15. A total of seven teams from various formations joined the competition and over a hundred officers were there to cheer them on.
The questions of the competition targeted the scenarios that frontline officers may encounter such as distinguishing advantages from entertainment, clarifying the criteria for lawfully accepting gifts, and mastering the key rules for avoiding conflicts of interest. The teams demonstrated a thorough understanding of the AAN and the Ordinance during the quick response part. The competition also incorporated content from the e-Booklet and the Training Package, as well as outstanding entries from the Video-Clip and Poster competitions to refresh officers’ understanding of the AAN.
