BIRTHDAY PARTIES

KIDS' PLAY
POC's playgroup supervisor Karen Griffiths has taken over the activities for the most junior members. Karen's wealth of experience with young children provides an excellent continuity for all the children who were formerly under Sarah's tuition. Karen can be contacted on 2549-3464.
BALLROOM DANCING

FITNESS ROOM
The Fitness Room has recently undergone an environmental upgrade. Motivational pictures adorn the walls, and a new heavy duty lifestepper, rowing machine and lifecycle are now available. While using the facility, take a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire on how you would like the new fitness room to take shape. The newly renovated male and female changing rooms are now open.
HANDOVER PARTY IN UK
Taunton County Cricket Club Grounds, 30 June.
Ex-RHKP members (and those still serving who will be in the area around 30 June) are invited to join the handover party at the Taunton County Cricket Club Grounds (just off Junction 25 of the M5 in England). Caterers are putting on tea, Champagne and canapes along with a buffet supper while the handover ceremonies are broadcast live via SKY TV. Cost: 20 pounds sterling. ROYAL HONG KONG POLICE ASSOCIATION (UK)
Sandown Park
In collaboration with the Hong Kong Society, the Association has a room to accommodate 150 persons at the Sandown Park Racecourse on 30 June. The changeover ceremony and associated events can be viewed on a large screen. This has been fully booked, but the secretary is keeping a waiting list.
London Lunch
A Reunion London Chinese Lunch will be held on Saturday 9 August at the New World Restaurant, Gerrand Place, in London at 12 noon. Price is 17 pounds sterling for a nine-course meal plus fruit and wine. Members can invite guests.
