Recently, Christopher Patten paid a final formal visit to the RHKP Headquarters in his capacity as the last UK Governor of Hong Kong. Apart from being updated and briefed in-depth on security and crowd control measures for the Farewell and Handover ceremonies on 30 June, Governor Patten was also given a tour of the Criminal Intelligence Bureau and the Ballistics and Firearms Identification Bureau. On a hot and cloudy afternoon, in an ex-army camp in Sek Kong, 13 women police were among 170 officers of the PTU Yankee Company to receive internal security training.
