THE Police Hockey Club annual Renegades match was held at the Hong Kong Football Club on May 7. After a hard-fought match played under sunny skies the experience of the Renegades, ex-members of the hockey club, helped them secure a well deserved 4-2 victory over the Police Hockey Club team. Later in the evening after the Club's Annual General Meeting, members enjoyed a buffet dinner after which the Renegades' trophy was presented to victorious captain Duncan McCosh by club chairman Peter Bacon. ![]()

AFTER 16 years without a home, the Police Handicraft Club finally opened its very own facility on April 24. Police Arts Council chairman Assistant Commissioner of Police/Information Systems Peter Halliday officiated at the opening ceremony of the new site, to the excitement and applause of members. The club is now housed in No.6-8, G/F, Block F in Tanner Hill Police Married Quarters. Mrs Barbara Wei, Associate of Honour of the Hong Kong Flower Club, was invited to demonstrate flower arrangements at the opening and all the bouquets displayed at the venue sold out immediately. The club said the money raised would be donated to the Police Welfare Fund. ![]() |
