Fatal traffic accident in Tseung Kwan O

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 60-year-old woman was killed in Tseung Kwan O this (July 16) morning.

At around 11:42am, a bus driven by a 51-year-old man was about to depart the bus terminal and right turn to Yan King Road. It was then reported that the bus hit the woman who was crossing the road inside the bus terminal.

The woman was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital in an unconscious state where she was certified dead at 11:57am.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
