Police University Recruitment Express (PURE)
The Hong Kong Police Force will be conducting campus recruitment in local universities. To facilitate university students to embark on a policing career upon graduation, the Recruitment Division co-organized the "Police University Recruitment Express (PURE)" with twelve local universities from 11 September 2026 to 5 October 2026.
Students can enjoy the convenience of applying on the spot for the positions of Police Constable, Probationary Inspector and Auxiliary Police Constable (via the Auxiliary Undergraduate Scheme, AUS), and experience the selection process for Probationary Inspector, including the Aptitude Test along with the Chinese & English Task Papers on campus. For the first time, the Probationary Inspector Written Exam will also be open to Year Two undergraduates (i.e two years before graduation), with only successful attempts to be counted, significantly advancing your career planning and preparation.
Officers from the Recruitment Division, as well as serving officers who are the respective university’s alumni and mentors of Police Mentorship Programme will be there to answer your queries on police work.
Following the introduction of the "Probationary Inspector DSE 4+ Express" on July 1 last year, the Recruitment Division will also be arranging exclusive Extended Interview sessions for the eligible applicants (the specific requirements detailed below) who apply through PURE. Qualified applicants will gain direct access to the Extended Interview and can choose to attend on one of the designated Saturdays, expediting the selection process.
PURE is meticulously tailored to meet the needs of university students, taking into account the academic calendars, holidays, and examination schedules of respective institutions. By engaging in the PURE, candidates not only gain preferential access to various selection procedures but also receive an exclusive opportunity where only successful attempts will be counted for Probationary Inspector Written Exam and Physical Fitness Test. This exceptional chance provides university students with an invaluable opportunity to reattempt the selection process promptly if they have not yet achieved the desired outcome.
(Specific Requirements: Those who have obtained Level 4 or above in Chinese Language and English Language subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent, and have passed the Aptitude Test of the Common Recruitment Examination will be deemed to have passed the Probationary Inspector Written Examination, and gain direct access to the Extended Interview.)
