Police University Recruitment Express (PURE) 2026
To facilitate university students in embarking on a policing career upon graduation, the Hong Kong Police Force is co-organizing the Police University Recruitment Express (PURE) with 12 local universities from 11 September (Fri) to 5 October (Mon) 2026.
PURE is designed around your academic calendar, holidays and examination schedules, offering on-campus convenience and fast-track selection. Recruitment officers and university alumni serving in the Force will be on campus to answer all your questions about police work.
Why is PURE the Best Time to Apply?
- On-the-Spot Applications: Probationary Inspector (PI), Recruit Police Constable (RPC), or Auxiliary Police Constable (via the Auxiliary Undergraduate Scheme, AUS).
- On-Campus PI Written Exam (WE): Take the Aptitude Test, Chinese and English Task Papers right on your campus.
- Exclusive Fast-track Selection: Choose exclusive weekend sessions for PI WE, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and Extended Interview (EI).
- Only Passing Scores Count: For the PI WE and PFT, only successful results will be counted. You can JUST TRY!
Who Can Apply?
Current students and fresh graduates of the 12 local universities, including:
- Undergraduates (Year 2 or above, i.e. graduating in 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29); and
- Postgraduates; and
- Fresh graduates (Graduated within a year).

PI Extended Interview (EI)
- Dates: 19 Sep (Sat) / 3 Oct (Sat) / 10 Oct (Sat) / 17 Oct (Sat)
- Qualification: If you have attained Level 4 or above in Chinese Language AND English Language subjects in the HKDSE, or equivalent, AND have passed the Aptitude Test of the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), you will enter the EI directly without the need to sit the PI WE.
