The Hong Kong Police Force will hold the “Police Recruitment Day 2026” on June 28 (Sun) at the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground, to provide aspiring candidates the chance to take part in the selection process for Probationary Inspector and Police Constable on-site. You can also explore police work through a diverse range of experiential activities and police unit display.
1. Selection Workshops for Probationary Inspector and Police Constable
Information and tips about the recruitment process for both Probationary Inspector and Police Constable will be provided for you to enhance your overall understanding of the process. The workshops will also allow you to experience the selection process to better prepare for your future application. Probationary Inspector (PI) applicants may also take part in the PI Written Examination English and Chinese Task Papers.

2. Physical Fitness Test Workshops
On-site Physical Fitness Test, including Vertical Jump, Push-up, 4 x 10m Shuttle-run, and 800m Run will be provided. The test results obtained on the day will be valid for three months for later applications. Only successful attempts for this fitness test would be counted, making this the best opportunity to test your ability.

3. Police Unit Display and Sharing of Training Experience
Join our police unit display to experience and see for yourself how the challenging nature of policing could let you to unleash your talent. You can also chat with officers from different units, as well as course instructors as trainees from the Police College to know first-hand about their training life.

4. Graduate Express: Are you graduating in 2026?
If you are graduating in 2026 and fulfil the entry requirements for Police Constable, Probationary Inspector, or both, you are most welcomed to apply.
If you are completing an i) undergraduate degree or above, and will be ii) graduating in 2026, and have iii) attained Level 4 or above in both Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent, you may apply for our first-ever on-site Probationary Inspector Extended Interview and Aptitude Test.
If you have not attained Level 4 or above in both Chinese Language and English Language HKDSEE, but will be completing an i) undergraduate degree or above, and will be ii) graduating in 2026, you are eligible to apply for our on-site Probationary Inspector Written Exams English and Chinese Tasks papers. Only successful attempts for this test occasion would be counted, making this the best opportunity to test your ability.

(only for 2026 university graduates with Level 4 or above in both HKDSEE Chinese and English Language)
