Recruitment Experience & Assessment Day 'One Force'

The tenth Recruitment Experience & Assessment Day (READ) under the theme of “One Force” will be held by the Recruitment Division at the Hong Kong Police College on 21* and 22 June 2025 (Saturday* and Sunday). If you are a student from local, Mainland or overseas universities, or local post-secondary institutes, you can also apply for “Police Mentorship Programme” or “Auxiliary Undergraduate Scheme” on site.

* Only Physical Fitness Test Workshop is provided on 21 June 2025 (Saturday) (i.e. no selection and exhibition).
* Light refreshment in Police College is available on 22 June 2025 (Sunday).

The Three Highlights

1. Selection Workshop for Probationary Inspector and Police Constable

Information and tips about the recruitment process for both Probationary Inspector and Police Constable will be provided for you to enhance your overall understanding of the process. The workshops will also allow you to experience the selection process so that you can better prepare for your future applications. In addition, you can register to take the on-site Probationary Inspector Written Examination both English and Chinese Task Papers (From 08:30 to 11:15) (Only successful attempts will be counted – participants must meet the academic requirements for the Probationary Inspector, and candidates must bring a copy of their academic qualification documents for verification on the day.)

2. Escape Room, Police Unit Display, Sharing of Training Experience, Range Course Experience Tour and Barrack Tour

Join our escape room and police unit display to experience how the challenging nature of policing could enable you to unleash your talent. Furthermore, various equipment and tools used in foundation training will be shown. You can also chat with trainees and course instructors to know first-hand about their training life. You may watch the demonstration of the new pistol firing to experience the loud impact of live rounds.

3. Physical Fitness Test Workshop

Physical Fitness Test Workshop will be held on both 21 and 22 June 2025 (Saturday and Sunday). Training tips for the Physical Fitness Test, including Vertical Jump, Handgrip Strength Test, 4 x 10m Shuttle-run, and 800m Run will be provided. The test results obtained on the days will be valid for three months for later applications.

Dress Code

Casual wear. If you enrolled or wish to take part in physical fitness workshops, you must wear proper sportswear (plain coloured short/long-sleeved t-shirt and short sports pants (4 inches or more above the knee)) and running shoes.
