Hi! I am Peony Wu, a Form 5 student from St. Clare’s Girls’ School. I would like to share with all of you how I spent my Christmas holiday.
Christmas is my favourite festival. I love the atmosphere, traditions, ways of celebration and so on, or in brief everything about Christmas! This year, my mother bought a Christmas tree. My family members and I decorated it together. We also sang Christmas carols during the decoration. “We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.” Such heart-warming and festive lyrics made all of us delighted. On December 25, I went out with my friends in the afternoon and we saw lots of beautiful lightings on the streets. There were couples, families and friends. Everyone was having a big smile on the face! That is why I love Christmas so much.
Christmas is regarded as the festival of peace and goodwill when families are reunited, houses are gaily decorated and gifts are exchanged. I hope all of you have enjoyed a merry Christmas as I did!
