- Whilst much of the advice contained in this booklet has a wide application, no such publication can include information on how to deal with every possible contingency. The needs of the individual will vary widely according to the type of premises, the threat assessment and size of organisation concerned. - Security Officer
It is strongly recommended that, if you have not already done so, you appoint a suitably qualified Security Officer, whose sole, full-time responsibility is the co-ordination of all security measures, which will include maintaining a close liaison with the local police to ensure they are aware of any potential increase in the level of threat.
