Kwun Tong District (KTDIST) and Kwun Tong District Junior Police Call (KTJPC) Honorary Presidents Council co-organised the fourth KTJPC Fight Crime and Racial Harmony Healthy Fun Run on November 4 to foster a culture of healthy lifestyle, engage the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) and disseminate crime prevention messages to the participants.

With the participation of over 700 JPC members, NEC youngsters and local residents at Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park, the race drew a bigger turnout than that of last year. It comprised individual entry and group entry for two kilometres (km) and 4.4 km, as well as parent-children entry for families.

KTDIST Commander Chan Kwok-kee and Chairman of KTJPC Honorary Presidents Council Mr Chan Kang officiated at the kick-off ceremony with other JPC Honorary Presidents. Senior Police Call members assisted in distributing publicity leaflets to alert the runners of the modus operandi of deception cases and to promote the "Anti-Scam Helpline 18222". With the support of KTJPC volunteers and Force members, the event ended in an array of laughter.
