The annual Shatin Dragon Boat Race took place at Shing Mun River on June 18, with the Police Dragon Boat Club (PDBC) and the Marine Police winning the first runner-up and third runner-up respectively in the Government Departmental Friendly Race. PDBC then entered the Final Championship Tournament to compete with local elites and took the fourth place.

Afterwards, PDBC joined the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races in the Central harbourfront from June 22 to 24. Apart from reaping the bronze medal in the Disciplinary Forces Invitational Race, PDBC was the semi-finalist in the "International Open Grand Championship", "International Mixed Grand Championship" and "International Women's Grand Championship".

Last but not least, the annual PDBC Charity Race is scheduled to be held on October 13. Force members are welcome to join the event for a good cause. The deadline for application is July 27. The race would raise fund for the Little Life Warrior Society to support children with cancer or severe blood diseases or having undergone bone marrow transplant.
