Assaulted maid thanks investigators

A seriously abused maid visited Wan Chai Police Station on March 13, to personally thank Divisional Investigation Team Three officers for their detailed inquiry that saw the culprit, her employer, convicted and jailed for 18 months.
Victim Mrs Warly and Johnson Hun, a consultant on overseas foreign workers' affairs, praised the officers for their work in the horrific case in which the culprit seriously burned her hands with a hot iron. She was charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
The investigation team were joined by Wan Chai District Commander Lee Siu-kin, his Deputy Peter Hunt, and Detective Inspector Samson Tang Man-sum, DVIT Three Officer-in-Charge at that time.
