To facilitate high-calibre Hong Kong students from overseas universities to join the Force, the Police Recruitment Division will launch the “Police University Recruitment Express – Overseas (PURE O)” during summer school holidays in June and July 2026, offering an exclusive express lane for overseas university students!
“PURE O” offers an accelerated Probationary Inspector (PI) selection in “less than 1 month”, where applicants take part in 1) Physical Fitness Test, 2) PI Written Examinations, 3) Extended Interview, 4) Psychometric Test and 5) Final Interview Board.
And a “4 days in 3 weeks” Police Constable (PC) selection, where applicants can take part in 1) Physical Fitness Test, 2) Group Interview, 3) Psychometric Test and 4) Final Interview Board.
Eligibility
Overseas (i.e. outside China) university students who:
- Are in their final / penultimate years of study (i.e. students graduating in 2026 and 2027), OR
- Have graduated for no more than two years, AND
- Must be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
