To facilitate high-calibre Hong Kong students from overseas universities to join the Force, the Police Recruitment Division will launch the “Police University Recruitment Express – Overseas (PURE O)” during summer school holidays in June & July 2025.

“PURE O” is a streamlined, intensive “5 days in 3 weeks” Probationary Inspector (PI) selection, where applicants take part in 1) Physical Fitness Test, 2) PI Written Examinations, 3) Extended Interview, 4) Psychometric Test and 5) Final Interview Board in three weeks’ time.

And a “3 days in 2 weeks” Police Constable (PC) selection, where applicants can take part in 1) Physical Fitness Test, 2) PC Group Interview & Final Interview Board and 3) Psychometric Test in two weeks’ time.


Eligibility

Overseas (i.e. outside China) university students

  1. in their final / penultimate year of study, OR (i.e. students graduating in 2025 and 2026)
  2. who have graduated for no more than two years
  3. applicant must be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Online Seminars

  1. 26th May 2025: HKT 1700-1800/ London Time 1000-1100/ Sydney Time 1900-2000/ Toronto & New York Time 0500-0600
  2. 30th May 2025: HKT 0900-1000/ London Time 0200-0300/ Sydney Time 1100-1200 / Toronto & New York 2100-2200
