To facilitate high-calibre Hong Kong students from overseas universities to join the Force, the Police Recruitment Division will launch the “Police University Recruitment Express – Overseas (PURE O)” during winter school holidays in December 2025 & January 2026.
“PURE O” is a streamlined, intensive “1 month” Probationary Inspector (PI) selection, where applicants take part in 1) Physical Fitness Test, 2) PI Written Examinations, 3) Extended Interview, 4) Psychometric Test and 5) Final Interview Board.
And a “2 weeks” Police Constable (PC) selection, where applicants can take part in 1) Physical Fitness Test, 2) PC Group Interview & Final Interview Board and 3) Psychometric Test.
Eligibility
Overseas (i.e. outside China) university students
- in their final / penultimate year of study, OR (i.e. students graduating in 2025 and 2026)
- who have graduated for no more than two years
- applicant must be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
