The "Good Citizen Award Presentation Ceremony 2023" was held at 2:30 PM on March 17, 2024 (Sunday) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, during which 80 good citizens were commended, with 6 citizen awarded for the “Good Citizen of the Year Award” and seven "Good Organisation Award" presented to recognise respective contributions by the citizens and corporations in collaboration with the Police in crime prevention. The ceremony was live-streamed on the Police Force's Facebook page and RTHK Channel 32.

Mr. SIU Chak-yee, the Commissioner of Police, Ms. CHAN Sui-kuen, the Deputy Chairman of the General Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. SIU Chor-kee, the member of The Fight Crime Committee were invited to the ceremony as officiating guests. Mr. Albert AU and Ms. Toby CHAN were the emcees of the ceremony. The ceremony featured a rich program, including singing performances by the renowned group, "HEA", Mr. Harry Ng, Mr. Edwin SIU and Mr. Albert Au, while Mr. Bill NG and Ms. Jay LAM from “Midlife, Sing & Shine!” delivered stunning performances with kids and the other artists, including Ms. Kaman KONG, Ms. Honey HO and Mr. Alvin NG.
The "Good Citizen Award" is celebrating its 51st anniversary this year, with the theme of "Hello ‧ Good Citizen" delivering the message that good people and deeds are everywhere. Four cases were selected and filmed as the “Hello ‧ Good Citizen" series under the themes of "Encounter", "Acquaintance", "Commitment" and "United” with the participation of the awardees. The videos have been uploaded to the Police Force's YouTube channel.
